Lawn Doctor of North Bradenton-Parrish-Valrico in Florida is owned and operated by Carlos Roca, a Miami native who has called the Parrish area home for more than 15 years. Carlos’s Lawn Doctor is a family operation; his son Justin is working on learning the business by assisting in the day to day operations. After college he will likely take on a managerial role in the business.
For Carlos, having a lush, green lawn means that “the homeowner enjoys all aspects of owning property, and makes the effort to care for and maintain it. It also signifies a sense of pride and well-being.” To serve these customers, Carlos thrives on sustaining a solid reputation for reliability and service. “I feel great knowing that I am able to contribute to the beauty of my community, as well as give my customers healthy lawns and yards that will, in turn, increase the value of their homes.”
“Mosquitos are also a hot button for me,” Carlos adds. “When I lived a few miles from the levy, it was almost impossible to enjoy being outside – and now it seems we have more and more mosquitoes every year.” Another aspect of Carlos’s business is mosquito control, to help customers regain control of their yards and start enjoying dinners and social gatherings outdoors again.
